A decision instrument

Make important decisions
with rigor.

Verdant Decisions is a structured decision-making tool used to clarify what matters, weigh the trade-offs, and arrive at defensible recommendations.

01 — What it does

A calm, deliberate space for the choices that matter most.

Define the question. Lay out the options. Name the factors that truly matter. Verdant Decisions guides you through pairwise comparisons, derives the weights for you, and returns a ranked recommendation you can stand behind — and explain to anyone.

02 — The method

The Analytic Hierarchy Process.

Developed by Thomas Saaty in the 1970s, AHP breaks complex decisions into a hierarchy of factors, then uses pairwise comparisons to derive consistent weights for each. Instead of ranking everything at once — which the mind does poorly — you make a series of small, careful judgments: is this factor more important than that one, and by how much? Verdant Decisions assembles those judgments into a coherent set of priorities, scores each option against each factor, and produces a weighted ranking with the math made transparent.
